Super Saiyan God



The "Super Saiyan God" is the legend among legends of the warrior race, the Saiyans. The power of six good-hearted Saiyans must be infused for one of them to achieve this legendary form. As Shenron explains to the Z Fighters and company during the events of Battle of Gods, a Super Saiyan God once appeared on Planet Vegeta to stop the evil Saiyans but he failed because of the form's time limit. The Namekians were also aware of the Super Saiyan God, and wrote of the method to achieve the form in their book of legends.
It is shown in Dragon Ball Minus that the legend of the Super Saiyan God was one of the reasons why the tyrant Frieza committed the Genocide of the Saiyans. Thirty-nine years before the events of the Battle of Gods Saga, the Oracle Fishforetold the appearance of a Super Saiyan God to Beerus the Destroyer. This revelation is what hastens the Destroyer God's awakening in the film and the genesis of the events of Battle of Gods.[

Tournament of Power  is the name of the tournament held by   Zen-Oh  and  Future Zen-Oh . The strongest warriors from eight out of the twelve Universes are participating, and any team who loses in this tournament will have their Universe wiped out almost immediately after. According to the  Great Priest , the true motive behind the organization of the tournament is that Zen-Oh believes there are too many  Universes   and wants to  erase  the weaker ones. The Tournament of Power was originally conceived by  Zen-Oh  after witnessing the Universes 6 and 7 Gods of Destruction Selection Martial Arts Competition held by  Beerus  and  Champa . After enjoying the tournament for its entertainment value and the spectacle of the participating fighters, Zen-Oh determined that a larger competition involving all of the Universes would prove even more entertaining. Later, after meeting the  Future Zen-Oh , Zen-Oh more or less forgot about the tournament until reminded by an eager  Goku .

DBZ SUPER

Dragon Ball  Super  is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation that began airing on July 5, 2015 on Fuji TV. It is the first Dragon Ball television series featuring a new storyline in 18 years. Storywise, the series retells the events of the last two  Dragon Ball Z  films, Goku faces off against the God of Destruction , a powerful supernatural being, who is very eager to defeat him to fulfil a prophecy.
